Fall is my favorite time of the year! I personally think fall is not only the best season mother nature could have brought upon us but also the prettiest season! Who doesn’t like seeing leaves change, drinking hot cocoa, apple cider, hay rides, Halloween and the time we spend searching for the scariest of haunted houses, but most of all thanksgiving! The weather is perfect, the air is crisp and everything is pumpkin spice flavored. One thing I enjoy most about fall is visiting corn mazes to find the mysterious things they have hidden for the guests to find. How can you not love fall? Fall is the perfect time to spend every second of your day outside frolicking in leaves, making scarecrows with my family and picking out the perfect pumpkin(s). Even though the sun is still fairly strong, the cool breeze inspires woman everywhere to rejoice and break out scarfs, cute sweaters, boots and fuzzy socks. Nothing really tops off fall fashion.
Lattes are basically the definition of fall! This is the main season you see people drinking them. So I’ve heard the most “famous” latte from Starbucks is pumpkin spice! What ingredients are mixed to make this amazing pumpkin spice latte you may ask. It’s made with pumpkin spice sauce, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg spices, steamed milk, espresso, whipped cream and pumpkin spice topping. Even though it’s not made with real pumpkin it sure tastes like it! If you have never tasted this drink i strongly recommend you to stop what you’re doing and get to Starbucks.
Picking out the perfect pumpkin(s) and carving it is the perfect way to bond with your family. My family makes it a tradition to attend a pumpkin patch every fall to find the perfect pumpkin that best suits them. There is a variety of pumpkins you can choose from. When my family goes to the pumpkin patch we see who can find the biggest pumpkin in the patch. The bigger the pumpkin the more seeds we get to bake for a nice Halloween treat. Before carving our pumpkins we cut a hole in the top to scrape the seeds out, my family enjoys the different things we can make out of the pumpkin. You can make pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread or even bake the seeds and eat them as a snack.
